  • Before I begin my review, I'd like to address some recent remarks on this site by someone who felt bold enough to make scathing comments, but lacked the corresponding courage to stand by them with a signature other than "A Google User." The real "bottom line", is that it seems clear that the remarks reveal more about the writer than anything said about Eastern Hills. They were, first of all, inaccurate, at least in my experience at EH Church. Worse than that, however, the comments went beyond objectivity, and seemed intentionally mean-spirited, as if birthed from some place of offense or woundedness present long before coming through the church doors. My heart goes out to this person, whoever you are, and I would actually encourage you to consider coming back, not because Eastern Hills needs your endorsement, but because I believe you need grace and healing in your life, in Jesus' Name. You will find that in abundance here. What you will NOT find is a custom tailored designer venue to cater to your consumer mindset. If that is the case, then perhaps EH Church is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for authentic people who truly care about your relationship with the living God, endeavoring to do life together, where the Truth is spoken in love, and worship isn't about your favorite style of music but about what goes on in your heart 7 days a week, as opposed to a few moments on Sunday... I encourage you to visit! You will not find perfection. But you will be welcome... and you will find yourself among real people who truly love Jesus Christ, and are committed to building each other up in His Name. My name is Nancy Carmichael, and I have attended EH Church since 2004.

I am happy to share my christian experience . I am born in highly orthodox family . my mother. Was sudden death.in the time lam only sixteen years student.lam not intersted in my studies.I gained peaceless by my sins then.I tried thrice to commit suicide
Once my frient invited the church l go and join the prayer my life was change .
My frients desired to change my name Murugan. It is a hindu god name.to a christian name I prayed to god to name me suitably before the do

t a mighty hand touched my lips and my whole body began to fire within.I got shiver shock in my body and opened my mouth to pray.I cod spelt only the letters. DA..NI..EL. I heard the name DANIEL. Thousand times around the room as the music of bees.I could not sit in my bed
    I parised god that night.
    I continue in another time
    With love and prayers...

  • This is a large church, but has the feel of intimacy that I often feel in small or mid-sized churches. The people are great and are very caring for each other. The preaching is solid and the worship has always been inspiring when I have attended. The congregation was larger several years ago, but I sensed an excitement among the people and the leaders that their best days ahead of them. I especially liked how generous the church is toward other congregations and works that are trying to bring the gospel to Buffalo, and Western New York.

Look here's the bottom line. If you want to go to a cemetery this would be a great place for you. The place in my mind is dead. Both in the flesh and in spiritual terms. There is no excitement from staff or congregation and there is certainly no room for God. I imagine if Jesus was to walk down center isle He would be missed. If one is looking for a solid sermon with historical facts; you might be interested. It is probably the strongest point of the service. An informative sermon. Certainly not life changing or inspirational. As for their worship; they can't decide who they are. And what ever genre they end up choosing they don't represent well. Again in it is dead. Hope this helps.
