  First time at a Unitarian Church. Went for a little chorale thingy. Nice place! Parking out back is kinda messed up, but, whatever?

  I'm one of those people who says, "I'm more spiritual than religious". I have never believed in the traditional concept of god (or any concept, for that matter) but still I wanted.... something. In this church I found like-minded people who welcomed me and my family with open arms. I found a place where I could ask questions and explore my own sense of spirituality and have others share theirs with me. I have never been told how or what to believe and have instead been engaged in meaningful conversations which help to deepen the experience. This church is affirming to the LGBT community and as a civil rights supporter that is something that matters deeply to me. I walked in the door 5 years ago looking for community and found a spiritual home.
